Every wedding at All Saints is unique. Some couples choose a traditional service with hymns and organ music, while others prefer a simpler, more personal occasion.

Who Can Get Married at All Saints
To be married at All Saints, one of you must have what’s called a qualifying connection with the church. This could mean you live in the parish, have lived here before, were baptised or confirmed here, or have parents or grandparents with a link to the church.
If you’re unsure whether you qualify, we’ll talk you through your options and help you explore ways to make All Saints part of your story.

Legal and Practical Steps
Most couples marry by the publication of banns, a traditional legal requirement where your intention to marry is announced during a Sunday service on three separate weeks in the three months before your wedding.
If either of you is not a UK citizen, or if special circumstances apply, you may need a marriage licence instead. Don’t worry — our clergy will guide you through whichever process is right for you.

Planning Your Ceremony
From music and readings to flowers, photography, and personal touches, your wedding will be shaped around what matters most to you.
Early conversations with our clergy will help us understand your hopes for the day so we can create a ceremony that is both personal and rooted in the faith and traditions of the Church in Wales.
You’ll also be invited to make, or affirm, promises of faith and commitment, promises we’ll help you prepare for beforehand.
