At All Saints, faith is something we live as well as share.
Our church is a hub for friendship, service, and care, where people of all ages can meet, belong, and support one another. From toddler groups to community lunches, school visits to pastoral care, there’s always something happening that connects us as neighbours and friends.
The clergy and pastoral care team visit people in their own homes according to the need and also visit people at hospitals outside the area.
As a church we make every effort to care for all in our community. For those who are unable to attend our regular worship at All Saints and who would like to worship and/or receive Holy Communion, we visit all the Residential and Nursing homes in the area regularly – these include: Bethshan, Plas Cae Crwn, The Oaks, the local hospital and also Llys Glan yr Afon. Regular worship happens in the residential and Nursing Homes.
All Saints is proud to be part of Gorwelion, a Newtown-based charity that provides accommodation and practical support for people experiencing homelessness.
Working in partnership with organisations such as Green Pastures and Ponthafren, Gorwelion helps individuals rebuild confidence and move towards independent living.
This project reflects our belief that everyone deserves security, dignity, and hope for the future.
Tuesdays 11.30 am – 1.30 pm
A warm welcome, homemade soup, and a friendly table await at our weekly lunch.
Recognised as a Dementia Friendly Church, All Saints offers a safe, inclusive and supportive space where friendships grow week by week.
During summer months, soup gives way to ploughman’s lunches.
Mondays 2.00 – 4.00 pm
A relaxed, informal afternoon of tea, cake and conversation.
Everyone is welcome to pop in, meet new friends, and enjoy the warmth of fellowship in good company.
1st & 3rd Wednesdays each month | 2.30 pm
A friendly afternoon group open to all, with guest speakers, games, occasional outings, and plenty of laughter. It’s an easy way to meet people and feel part of the All Saints family.
2nd & 4th Wednesdays each month 2:30-4:30
Come to see a film, sing some old popular songs, do some craft activities, play various games and share in fellowship…..and as always have a cuppa and a chat.
Wednesdays (term time) | 9.15 – 11.15 am | £2 per session (first visit free)
A lively, caring space for children aged 0–4 and their grown-ups.
There’s sensory play, singing, crafts, healthy snacks, and time for parents and carers to connect.

First Monday of the month | Hosted by Penygloddfa School
A special partnership between school and church, bringing together pupils, parents, governors, and community members for coffee, games and good conversation.
It’s a joyful intergenerational event that brightens every month.
Third Tuesday of the month | 2.30 pm at Mill Close
A welcoming group rooted in prayer and fellowship, supporting family life both locally and globally.
Meetings include a short service, an inspiring speaker, and time to chat over tea.
Donations support Newtown Food Bank, Montgomery Family Crisis Centre, and international Mothers’ Union projects.
Each term, our volunteer Storytellers visit local primary schools across the Mission Area to share the stories of Jesus through drama, costume and gentle humour.
Children delight in hearing stories such as The Lost Sheep, The Wedding at Cana and The Calming of the Storm, and teachers tell us how much they look forward to our visits.
During school holidays, All Saints runs themed children’s sessions inspired by the stories Jesus told.
Each event combines storytelling with hands-on activities, crafts, cooking, play and creativity, finishing with a shared lunch and prayer.
It’s a wonderful way for children to learn, explore and grow in faith.
Every year, members of All Saints join Rev Nia for a spiritual retreat at Aberdaron, a time for reflection, rest, and renewal.
The next retreat will take place in February 2026 and is open to all within the Mission Area.
