Join us every Tuesday at 11.30 am for a warm bowl of homemade soup, freshly baked bread rolls, and a hearty serving of community spirit. Lunch is followed by cheese and biscuits, tea or coffee, and plenty of friendly conversation. (during the summer months we switch from soup to a salad lunch)
You will be welcomed by our wonderful team of volunteers, whose smiles and hospitality make every Tuesday feel like gathering with old friends. Many of our regular guests have been coming for years, and newcomers are always made to feel instantly at home.
All Saints has proudly been recognised as a Dementia Friendly Church for many years. Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where everyone can relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy companionship. Some of our guests are church members, but most come from the wider Newtown community, creating a beautiful mix of familiar faces and new connections each week.
Over time, what began as a simple lunch has become so much more. Friendships have been formed, laughter has been shared, and the church has become a welcoming meeting place for all ages and backgrounds.
During the summer months, the menu changes from steaming bowls of soup to a refreshing ploughman’s lunch, perfect for warmer days. But whatever the season, you can always expect good food, good company, and a genuine welcome at the Tuesday Soup Lunch.
Everyone is invited — come as you are, pull up a chair, and be part of this much-loved All Saints tradition.
